Never drop a round directly onto the rollers.
Use only on solid, flat, level ground.
Always wear appropriate safety gear.
Do not use on rounds exceeding 300 pounds.
Do not use on rounds more than 30 inches in diameter.
The rollers take all the weight. Put the lip on your splitter's base, secure the Sit'n Split with the spikes, and get to it.
The Sit'n Split tool makes is much easier to manage heavy rounds for splitting. The rugged tool is made from welded box steel with industrial quality rollers and will last for years. Lay the lip of the tool on top of your Vertically positioned log splitter's base and secure it with the spikes (included). From there, you can roll, rotate, and reposition heavy rounds into perfect splitting position — all without getting on your knees or wrestling with it.
If your splitter's base looks like the one in the picture below, the Sit'n Split should work.
